NPC character animations

These animation were made to enhance liveliness of the farm. NPC were able to commence work on a production building and roam to another one after a certain time.

To support the action a complex interaction component was build to handle props on the characters themself and the buildings.

mouse mocap driven characters

At some point I had to quickly add some animated bees to WeFarm. Naturalistic and fluid motion is hard to do manually so I used the mouse mocap tool provided by Red9Tools to capture six “takes”, baked them to a joint and imported the keys into Unity.
The takes are triggered randomly and layered on top to avoid sync issues.
